The purpose of the undergraduate academic excellence international scholarship in Australia is to attract international students. It aims to offer international students with high performance the chance to study an undergraduate course at the University of Technology Sydney, UTS.

Eligibility requirements

  • Applicants must be international students. All citizens of Australia and New Zealand and permanent residents of Australia are not eligible for this scholarship.
  • Applicants must have finished high school education comparable or equal to an Australian Year 12 education. This will serve as part of the basis for their admission into UTS.
  • Applicants must be starting a full-time program at UTS and on campus grounds. This may include remote or online learning and face-to-face sessions. Distance learning degrees and online degrees are not eligible for this scholarship.
  • Applicants must not be enrolled in a UTS online or distance learning degree.

 

The Selection Process

Selection is made based on academic merit after completing an Australian Year 12 high school study. The applicant must reach ATAR rank without any adjustments.  Applicants who have completed high school study comparable to an Australian Year 12 program in a UTS recognized school also qualify for the scholarship.

The scholarship is only available for undergraduate programs.
